March 27-28, 2002

As a leader in the security industry, you are invited to attend the Carnegie Mellon University Security Workshop Series on “States Security Issues:  Identity, Authentication, Access Control.”

Attendees will participate first hand with the States already implementing secure e-government systems, and presentations will focus on proposals for such critical infrastructure components as a Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) for the States and interoperability for State driver’s licenses.

Presenters and participants are leaders and innovators in relevant public policy and technology. The discursive events of the Workshop will be summarized in a white paper written by the technical team at Carnegie Mellon and released to the public.

Keynote Presenters include:

  • Welcome address by Pennsylvania Governor, Mark Schweiker

  • Keynote by Vermont Governor, Howard Dean
